Think trees, canola and cherries & while you’re taking that all in, close your eyes and you can hear birds chirping, lambs calling out for their mothers and total peace and quiet.
On Saturday 17 November my husband and I are leaving the city behind for the tranquility of rural NSW. My new home/office is in a small village 20 minutes south of Young and 10 minutes north of Cootamundra.
The Style Project will now cover Sydney, Canberra, Yass, Young and Wagga Wagga & with all of the driving I’ll be doing I bought a VW Amorok to keep me safe on the roads. It’s large enough for all of the pieces I’ll be transporting from space to space & being so high up it’s an absolute dream to drive.
We’ve owned the house we’re moving into for the past 4 years and what started out as a weekender & holiday retreat will now be our full time home. This move has amped up the work we’ve been doing on the house & it’s looking more and more like us with each new project we finish & there’s so much more to go! (sorry Stephen).
While I have a tendency to do everything at full speed I hope the move will see me take life a little slower. Having just written that I’m not sure if my new in home pilates reformer bed, planned veggie garden, desire to be my own in house masterchef & all of the projects I have planned will allow for that. We’ll see!
I have a number of trips planned to Sydney over the next 6 months, finishing off client projects and I’m always on the look out for the next “must have” piece of furniture, lighting & accessory.
One of the new services we’ll be providing is Skype/Facetime consultations.
This means that no matter where our clients are, we’re only a phone call away.
Upcoming blogs will include some beautiful country homes in the area, but for now it’s back to finishing off some client work and I have a mountain of packing ahead of me while I dream of my new life.
I hope you’ll join me on my journey as I blog about my new adventures.
Wishing you a fabulous week ahead
Yours in Style
