Understanding your visionKim Knox-Thurn followed in her painter and decorator grandfather’s footsteps and has been designing classic and contemporary interiors for the past twenty years. Kim’s love of design blossomed after working with architects on office fit outs that she oversaw while working in the corporate world which lead to her formal design studies.
Combining her experience in both the design and corporate worlds has given Kim the ability to operate The Style Project on a level of professionalism that sees her managing projects with ease and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
Kim’s vision for a space springs to life almost immediately and is refined with each client’s individual & family lifestyle in mind. Kim gives her personal attention to every project no matter the size.
When asked what she liked most about being a designer, Kim answered: “At the conclusion of a project, the smile on my clients faces is the greatest reward I could ever receive”.
‘Taking the leap of faith and going with Kim’s recommendations was one of the best decisions; at first I was sceptical, then as the pieces arrived and things started to come together I fell completely in love with what was now my new home.
Kim’s eye for colour, textures and detail is incredible. Kim also has this uncanny ability to understand and tap into an individual’s
personality and quirks and somehow weaves that into her designs so you end up with something bespoke that radiates her client’s
individuality and personality.
Without Kim’s vision and direction I would not be living in a home that is elegant and timeless as well as being fun and calming at the
